Bybls a Balwns/Bubbles and Balloons

Ein thema'r wythnos hon oedd 'Bybls a Balwns'. Fel y gwelwch cawsom lawer o hwyl! Fel rhan o'r thema cawsom gyfle i ddefnyddio hen fwrdd golchi i olchi dillad y doliau.

Our theme this week was 'Bubbles and Balloons'. As you can see we had lots of fun! We even used an old washboard to wash the dolls' clothes!

Take Home Ted

Roedd cynnwrf mawr yn y Feithrin fore Gwener. Yn y ty bach glas allan ar yr iard cawsom hyd i dedi ber! Roedd yn eistedd yn dwt mewn bocs gyda'r neges 'Please look after me' Cafodd y tedi newydd groeso mawr a chafodd pawb gyfle i roi mwytha iddo ac addo edrych ar ei ol!
Bydd y tedi newydd yn cymryd lle yr hen 'Take Home Ted' sydd bellach wedi ymddeol ac yn mwynhau seibiant haeddianol!

There was great excitement in the Nursery on Friday. Outside in our little blue house we found a teddybear! He was sitting in a box holding a note which read 'Please look after me'. We were all thrilled to see him and gave him a big hug and promised to take good care of him.

He will replace the old 'Take Home Ted' who has retired and is now enjoying a well earned rest!

Space / Y Gofod

Yesterday, Mr Steve Blakesley visited to give a lesson about space. Year 4 to 6 were learning about the planets and how they compare to each other is size and in their distance from the sun. Year 1 and 2 were learning about materials and how important they are in space.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed learning about space, who knows, one of our pupils might be the next to land on the moon!

Ddoe cawsom ymweliad gan Mr Steve Blakesley a oedd yn rhoi gwersi am y gofod. Cafodd blwyddyn 4 i 6 ddysgu am enwau'r planedau ac hefyd dysgu pa mor bell mae pob planed o'r haul. Cafodd blwyddyn 1 a 2 edrych ar ddefnyddiau ac eu pwysicrwydd yn y gofod.

Roedd pawb wedi mwynhau ac wedi dysgu llawer o ffeithiau newydd. Pwy sydd yn gwybod, efallai bydd rhywun o'r ysgol y nesaf i lanio ar y lleuad.

Dail yr Hydref/Autumn leaves

Mae'n Hydref ac mae dail ym mhobman ar iard y Feithrin! Cawsom hyd i ambell ddeilen gyda'r llythyren 'o' arnynt hefyd. Beth am roi'r cyfan yn y ferfa!

It's Autumn and there are leaves everywhere on the Nursery yard! We even found leaves with the letter 'o' written on them. Let's find a wheelbarrow to put them in!

New Team Captains / Capteiniaid Newydd

Congratulations to our 4 new team captains. These four now have a very important role within the school, they must lead by example, be a friend to others and help ensure that everyone is happy.

Every Friday our team captains will move up and down the leaderboard, which does depend on how well team members have performed in class during the week. ( Each child is a member of a team; Traffwll, Penrhyn, Dinam, Cymyran)

Points will be awarded to children that work well, behave, show respect and much more. Each Friday the school will come together to see which team has worked the hardest to earn their points.


Llongyfarchiadau i'r pedwar capten newydd. Mae gan y pedwar hyn rol bwysig o fewn yr ysgol sef arwain drwy esiampl, bod yn ffrind i eraill ac hefyd sicrhau fod pawb yn hapus.

Bob prynhawn Gwener bydd y capteiniaid yn symud hofrenyddion i fyny ac i lawr y bwrdd sgorio yn ol perfformiad aelodau eu timau yn y dosbarth yn ystod yr wythnos. (Mae bob plentyn yn aelod o dim sef Traffwll, Penrhyn, Dinam, Cymyran)


Bydd y plant hynny sydd wedi gweithio'n dda, wedi ymddwyn yn dda ac wedi dangos parch, yn ennill pwyntiau. Ar ddiwedd yr wythnos bydd yr ysgol yn dod at ei gilydd i ddarganfod pa dim sydd wedi gweithio galetaf i ennill eu pwyntiau.

Yr Wythnos Gyntaf / The First Week

Croeso mawr i'r ugain o blant bach newydd sydd wedi cychwyn yn y Dosbarth Meithrin. Mae pob un wedi ymgartrefu yn arbennig o dda ac wedi mwynhau yr wythnos gyntaf. Teganau yw'r thema y tymor hwn ac fel rhan o'u datblygiad personol a chymdeithasol daeth y plant a'u teganau meddal i'r dosbarth.

A warm welcome to all the new children who started in the Nursery Class last week. They are settling in well and have thoroughly enjoyed their first week. This term's theme is 'Toys' and as part of their personal and social development the children brought their cuddly toys to school!

Croeso yn ol / Welcome Back !

Welcome back everyone, we hope you had a great holiday and are now ready for the new term ahead.

We would like to welcome our new Nursery children to Ysgol y Tywyn and also to Mrs Sarah Jones who will be joining Mrs Davies' class as a classroom assistant, and will also be helping with the after school club on a Monday and Friday afternoon.
