One pupil explaining about the day a Jamaican poet visited our school.
One day, a Jamaican man called Yasus Afari came to Ysgol y Tywyn to tell us about the country of Jamaica. He talked to us about poetry and we had to sing this song and then we had to sign a pretend contract using our voices. At one part he recited some poetry and he told us how Jamaica became an independent country. He told us the black on the flag represented the people, the green represents the vegetation, and the yellow stands for the sun.At the end we listened to some music and Yasus taught us a dance it was funny F-U-N-N-Y I liked it a lot.
