Rhif 3 / Number 3

Yr wythnos hon rydym wedi bod yn dysgu am rif 3. Dyma ni yn cael hwyl yn dysgu ffurfio ac adnabod y rhif.

Dydd Santes Dwynwen / St Dwynwen's Day

Roedd ddoe yn ddiwrnod Gwyl Santes Dwynwen, santes y cariadon. Dyma ni yn gwneud cardiau, lliwio calonnau ac yn mwynhau cinio arbennig.

Yesterday, January 25th was St Dwynwen's Day. St Dwynwen is the Welsh patron saint of love. Here we are making cards, colouring hearts and enjoying a St Dwynwen's Day lunch.

Ymarfer Corff / Our first PE lesson

PWYSIG
Os yw eich plentyn yn 3 oed cyn Medi’r 1af 2015, ac rydych yn awyddus i wneud cais am le yn y Dosbarth Meithrin, gellir cael ffurflen mynediad gan Mrs Raffle, y Pennaeth. Gofynwn i chi ddychwelyd eich ffurflen i'r ysgol cyn Chwefror 20fed os gwelwch yn dda. Os ydych yn dymuno anfon eich ffurflen i'r Swyddfa Addysg yn Llangefni yn hytrach na'r ysgol, bydd disgwyl i'r ffurflen gyrraedd y swyddfa cyn Mawrth 1af.

DS. Os yw'r dosbarth wedi cyrraedd ei rif mynediad, ni roddir ystyriaeth i unrhyw gais sy'n cael ei dderbyn wedi Mawrth 1af beth bynnag fo cyfeiriad y plentyn.

IMPORTANT  
If your child is 3 years old before the 1st of September 2015 and you would like him/her to attend the Nursery Class at Ysgol y Tywyn, please ask for an application form from the headteacher Mrs Raffle. We ask that you send the completed form back to school before the 20th of February. If you wish to return the form directly to the Education Authority, it is essential that the form arrives in Llangefni before the 1st of March.

NB. If the numbers applying for a place in the Nursery Class exceed the admission number of the school, applications received after the first of March will not be considered' even if you live in the catchment area of Ysgol y Tywyn.

Un Wythnos Wyntog / One Windy Week

Yr wythnos hon rydym wedi bod yn sgwrsio am y gwynt. Dyma ni yn chwifio rhubannau a fflagiau, yn gwylio'r olwynion pin yn troi ac yn hedfan barcud. Buom hefyd yn rhoddi dillad ar y lein fel Mrs Mopple a chawsiom hwyl yn cysgodi mewn ogof yn union fel Elmer!

This week we have been talking about the wind. Here we are waving streamers and flags and watching pinwheels spin. We had a go at flying a kite and we hung clothes on the line just like Mrs Mopple.  We also had fun sheltering in a cave just like Elmer!

Gwasanaeth Tan / Fire Service

Heddiw ymwelodd Lance Owen - Williams a'r ysgol i addysgu'r plant am ddiogelwch tan. Bu'n sgwrsio am beryglon matsys, pwysigrwydd larymau tan a chawsom stori am Tanni sef masgot y Gwasanaeth Tan yng Nghymru.

Today Lance Owen - Williams visited the school to educate the children about fire safety. He taught them about the dangers of touching matches and the importance of smoke alarms. He also read a   story about Tanni the mascot for the Fire Service in Wales.

Marc Griffiths

Heddiw ymwelodd Marc Griffiths  y tafleisiwr a’r ysgol gyda’i ffrind Major Chuckles.  Roedd ganddo neges bwysig i ni sef – 'Mae arwr ymhob un ohonom.' Cawsom brynhawn difyr dros ben ac rydym yn gobeithio ei weld eto yn fuan iawn.

Today Marc Griffiths the ventriloquist visited the school with his friend Major Chuckles. They had a very important message – 'There's a hero in all of us.' We all had a very enjoyable afternoon and we hope to see him again very soon!

Happy New Year / Blwyddyn Newydd Dda
