Ty Gobaith / Hope House

Today members of the school council presented Hope House with a cheque for £540.  The school collected money by having a superhero day.  Pupils came to school dressed as their hero and also designed their own hero with special super powers.

Heddiw cyflwynodd aelodau o'r Cyngor Ysgol siec o £540 i Katrina o Ty Gobaith. Casglwyd yr arian trwy gynnal diwrnod arwyr. Daeth y plant a'r athrawon hefyd i'r ysgol wedi gwisgo fel eu harwyr a chafodd pawb gyfle i gynllunio eu harwyr eu hunain gan roddi iddynt bwerau arbennig. Diolch i bawb am eu cefnogaeth.

Apel Cancr McMillan / McMillan Cancer Appeal

Diolch o galon i bawb am eu cyfraniad tuag at gronfa Apel Cancr McMillan. Cawsom fore llwyddiannus. Roedd y Neuadd yn llawn a mwynhaodd pawb ei gacen a'i baned. Gwnaethom elw o £326. Unwaith eto, diolch i chwi gyd.

Thank you all for your generous contribution towards the McMillan Cancer Appeal. We had a very busy and successful morning with everyone thoroughly enjoying their cake and cuppa. We managed to raise £362. Once again, thank you all very much

Apel Cancr McMillan / McMillan Cancer Appeal

Mae plant y Feithrin wedi bod yn  cymryd rhan ym 'More Coffi Mwya'r Byd'! Dyma nhw yn addurno eu cacennau. Rydym yn gobeithio codi llawer o arian. Bydd yr elw yn mynd tuag at Apel Cancr McMillan.

The Nursery children have been taking part in the 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning'! Here they are decorating cakes. We are hoping to raise lots of money. All proceeds will go towards the McMillan Cancer Appeal.

Plant Mewn Angen/Children in Need

Heddiw, a hithau'n ddiwrnod Plant mewn Angen, daeth y plant i'r ysgol mewn amrywiaeth o wahanol wisgoedd. Roedd pawb yn talu am y fraint o gael gwisgo eu dillad eu hunain ac ar ddiwedd y dydd roedd y swm anrhydeddus o £250 wedi ei gasglu! Bydd y cyfan yn mynd i gronfa'r Plant Mewn Angen. Diolch yn fawr iawn i chi am eich cyfraniadau.

With today being Children in Need Day, the children came to school in a variety of costumes!  They paid  for the 'privilege' of wearing their own clothes, and at the end of the day the school managed to raise £250! All money donated will go towards the Children in Need charity. Thank you all very much for your support.

Comic Relief /Diwrnod Trwynau Coch

This morning all of the children from our school visited Search and Rescue with an enormous red nose created by our children to place on the Sea King helicopter.
Children came to school dressed in bright colours all in aid of Comic Relief.
Thank you all for your kind donations.

Bore heddiw daeth y plant i'r ysgol wedi gwisgo mewn dillad lliwgar a hynny er mwyn codi arian tuag at Comic Relief. Yn ystod y bore aeth pawb i lawr i safle'r awyrlu  i osod trwyn mawr coch ar flaen un o'r hofrennyddion Cafodd y plant hwyl fawr yn creu'r trwyn drwy orchuddio cylch mawr gyda sgwariau coch. Diolch i bawb a gyfrannodd.

Casglwyd y swm anrhydeddus o £305.70. Bydd y cyfan yn mynd i gronfa'r Plant Mewn Angen. Diolch yn fawr iawn i chi am eich cyfraniad.

Help for Heroes

Dydd Gwener daeth ymwelydd arbennig i’r ysgol , sef Hero’r Arth. Daeth i’r ysgol i godi ymwybyddiaeth o’r gwaith da mae cymdeithas 'Help for Heroes' yn ei wneud yn helpu aelodau'r lluoedd arfog sydd wedi eu hanafu. Ymwelodd â phob dosbarth ac roedd y plant wrth eu bodd yn ysgwyd llaw âg ef!

On Friday a very special visitor came to our school - Hero the Bear, the official mascot of the ‘Help for Heroes' charity.  He came to raise awareness of the marvellous work ‘Help for Heroes’ does to help our current wounded. He visited every class and the children were delighted to meet him.
