Plant Mewn Angen / Children in Need

A hithau'n ddiwrnod Plant Mewn Angen, bu'n fore llawn hwyl yn y Feithrin. Daeth pawb i'r ysgol mewn gwisgoedd amrywiol a chawsom gyfle i liwio llun o Pudsey a Blush. Diolch i bawb am eu cyfraniad.

This morning the Nursery children had lots of fun raising money for 'Children in Need'. We came to school wearing our own clothes and we all coloured a picture of Pudsey and Blush. Thank you all very much for your generosity.

Blasu bwyd - Tasting food 15/11/16

Mae Dosbarth 4 wedi cael blasu gwahanol mathau o fwydydd. Rhai sur, melys, hallt a chwerw. Roedd yn rhaid i ni ddyfalu pa ran o'n tafodau sydd yn blasu gwahanol bethau.

Dywedodd Nick o Caterlink wrthom bod rhaid blasu rhywbeth 17 o weithiau cyn gwneud yn siwr os ydym yn ei hoffi neu beidio!

Class 4 have been tasting different types of food. Some sour, sweet, salty and bitter. We had to guess which part of our tongue tastes different things.

Nick from Caterlink told us that we need to taste things 17 times before deciding if we like them or not!

Penrhos Nature Reserve

Today the Reception class visited Penrhos Nature Reserve as part of our theme work on Autumn. We walked through the woods and splashed in puddles, it was lots of fun. During our walk through the woods, we found a glittery letter 'f' hanging from a tree; Pearl must have followed us to Penrhos! There was lots of excitement when we found it. Whilst we were there we also collected pine cones and different colour leaves, we found small ones and some very big ones, we can't wait to look at what we collected tomorrow.

Yr Hydref/ Autumn

As part of this term's work, the children have had the opportunity to learn about the Autumn. Part of the work was to make a shelter for Henry the Hedgehog to hibernate over Winter. We collected leaves and twigs to make the shelter and there was a lot of discussion about the best way to construct Henry's new home. 

Fel rhan o ein weithgareddau y tymor hwn, mae'r plant wedi cael y cyfle i ddysgu am yr Hydref. Rhan o'r gwaith oedd adeiladu cartref i Henry y Draenog cysgodi dros y Gaeaf.

Noson Tan Gwyllt / Bonfire Night

Rydym wedi bod yn dathlu Noson Tan Gwyllt yn y Feithrin yr wythnos hon. Mwynhaodd pawb y stori am Charlie Dragon, a chawsom gyfle i adeiladu a lliwio rocedi, paentio lluniau lliwgar a dawnsio.

This week we have been celebrating Bonfire Night. We all enjoyed the story about Charlie the lazy dragon who woke up just in time to light the bonfire! We built rockets, painted pictures and danced!!
