Ffair Haf/Summer Fair

Neithiwr cynhaliwyd y Ffair Haf flynyddol a hynny allan ar yr iard mewn haul bendigedig. Roedd yr ymateb yn wych a phawb mewn hwyliau da. Roedd y burgers a'r cwn poeth wedi eu bwyta i gyd erbyn 6.30 pm ond roedd digon o bethau eraill i ddenu darpar brynwyr. Roedd y castell neidio yn hynod boblogaidd gyda phawb a'r gystadleuaeth bachu hwyaid yn ffefryn gan y plant ieuengaf. Ar ddiwedd y noson roeddem wedi gwneud elw o bron i £800 tuag at gronfa'r ysgol.

Our Summer Fair was held outside in glorious sunshine yesterday. Why is everyone so much more cheerful when the sun shines? We were delighted to see such a wonderful turnout with lots of pennies to spend. The burgers and hot dogs had all gone by 6.30 pm but there were lots of other things to tempt prospective purchasers. The bouncy castle proved very popular with all comers and the duck catching a top attraction for the under 7s. At the end of the evening we had raised almost £800 for our school funds.
