Aeth Dosbarthiadau 1 a 2 i Theatr Bypedau Harlequin yn Rhos on Sea ddiwedd Mehefin i wylio sioe bypedau. Theatr fychan ydyw o ran maint ac oherwydd hynny roedd y plant yn teimlo'n rhan o'r cyflwyniad. Yn ogystal a hyn, roedd y pypedau yn ddigon o ryfeddod. Gwelsom Elvis, derfis chwyrliol, sgerbwd, a chlown i enwi ond ychydig! Roedd rhai o'r pypedau oddeutu can mlwydd oed ac mewn cyflwr arbennig o dda. Yn dilyn y sioe aethom yn ein blaenau i draeth Penmaenmawr ac yno cawsom ginio cyn mynd ati i wneud ychydig o gyfrifiannu. Er gwaethaf y gwynt a'r glaw cawsom ddiwrnod bendigedig.
Classes 1 and 2 attended the Harlequin Puppet Theatre at Rhos on Sea for a delightful morning of magic and puppetry. The theatre is small enough for youngsters to feel part of the action and the puppets themselves are just wonderful. We saw Elvis, a whirling dervish, a skeleton, a clown to name but a few! Some of the puppets are over a hundred years old and quite remarkable to be in such excellent condition. Once the show was over we progressed to Penmaenmawr beach where we had lunch and did a little orienteering.
Despite the wind and rain, we had a wonderful time and would thoroughly recommend the puppets to anyone in search of entertainment of a different kind.
