4 teams competed to build an exciting Roller Coaster using paper. Parents were invited to come to the class to help their children design and make a strong frame that would allow a marble to travel from the top of their design to the bottom without falling out of the structure.
The project was very successful with all pupils and parents enjoying themselves. They also learned more about the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) when working on various tasks.
Yr wythnos hon cafodd Dosbarth 5 gyfle i gymryd rhan ym mhrosiect her teuluol STEM. Enw'r prosiect oedd 'Build a Roller Coaster'. Bu pedwar tim yn cystadlu, a'r gamp oedd adeiladu 'roller coaster' cyffrous drwy ddefnyddio papur. Rhoddwyd gwahoddiad i'r rhieni hefyd a chawsant hwyl yn cynllunio gyda'u plant ffram gref a fyddai'n caniatau i farblen rolio o dop i waelod yr adeiladwaith.
Bu'n brosiect llwyddiannus a phawb wedi mwynhau. Yn ogystal a hyn dysgodd pob un am bwysigrwydd Gwyddoniaeth, Technoleg, Peirianneg a Mathemateg a hynny drwy weithio ar dasgau amrywiol.
