Ein gwers Ymarfer Corff gyntaf /Our first PE lesson

Heddiw cafodd plant y Feithrin eu gwers Ymarfer Corff gyntaf. Cawsom hwyl yn gwneud siapiau bach a mawr.

Today the Nursery children all enjoyed their first P E lesson. We had fun making different body shapes - big and small.

Ty Gobaith - Hope House

Bore heddiw bu Catrina o'r elusen Ty Gobaith i sgwrsio am ei gwaith efo plant a phobl ifanc sydd yn sal. Siaradodd Catrina am eu defnydd o Dechnoleg Gwybodaeth efo plant anabl, therapi cerddoriaeth, therapi ag anifeiliaid, a gwaith caled nyrsus efo teuluoedd. Mae'r plant am fynd ati i ddylunio Arwr er mwyn casglu arian at yr elusen, sydd angen £5miliwn y flwyddyn.

This morning Catrina from the Hope House charity came to talk to us about the work they do with sick babies, children and young people. She spoke about how they use Information Technology, Music Therapy and Pets for Therapy to help with some disabilities. The charity needs to raise £5million a year, and as a little contribution we are going to be raising some money by designing our own Super Heroes!

Santes Dwynwen/ Saint Dwynwen

Mae heddiw yn ddiwrnod Gwyl Santes Dwynwen, santes y cariadon. Yn ogystal a gwneud gwaith iaith a mathemateg yn gysylltiedig a 'r diwrnod, cawsom gyfle i wneud cardiau, lliwio calonnau, dawnsio gwerin a mwynhau cinio arbennig.

Today is St Dwynwen's Day. St Dwynwen is the Welsh patron saint of love. As well as doing mathematical and language work, we made cards, coloured in hearts, danced and enjoyed a St Dwynwen's Day lunch.

Diwrnod Santes Dwynwen/ St Dwynwen's Day

On Friday Class 1 were busy making cards ready for St Dwynwen's Day. The children each made a card  to give to another child in the class, and at the end of the day we posted them in our class post box. By Monday morning the Postman had delivered the children's cards to their trays.

Tall and Short

Yr wythnos hon fel rhan o'n thema, mwynhaodd pawb y stori am Jac a'r goeden ffa. Dyma ni yn dysgu am y cysyniad o tal a byr.

This week as part of our theme work, we all enjoyed the story about Jack and the beanstalk. Here we are learning about the concept of tall and short.

A beautiful frosty morning! Bore prydferth!

Bu Dosbarth 4 yn tynnu lluniau o'r rhew -roedd pawb yn cytuno ei fod yn hardd iawn!

Class 4 have been taking photographs of the frosty morning we had - every one agreed it was very beautiful!

If your child is 3 years old before September 1st 2016, then he/she is eligible to start at the Nursery in Ysgol y Tywyn. If you would like to apply for a place for your child, please telephone the school and ask for an application form. Completed forms should be returned to the school no later than Friday, February 26th

Cynllun Gwen / Designed to Smile

Heddiw daeth Deio'r Ddraig a Nest i edrych amdanom. Dysgodd y ddau i ni sut i edrych ar ol ein dannedd drwy fwyta'n iach a'u glanhau yn rheolaidd. O heddiw ymlaen fe fyddwn yn glanhau ein dannedd bob bore ar ol bwyd bach!

Today Deio the Dragon and Nest came to see us! They taught us how to look after our teeth by eating healthily and brushing them regularly. From now on we will be brushing our teeth every morning after snack!

The Jolly Postman

Yr wythnos hon rydym wedi bod yn creu mapiau o daith y Jolly Postman.

This week we've been making maps of the Jolly Postman's route. We drew pictures of  all the characters and their homes. 

Gymnastics

Yr wythnos hon yn ein gwersi ymarfer corff rydym wedi bod yn gwneud Gymnasteg.

This week in our PE lessons we have been doing Gymnastics. We made different shapes with our bodies and then we made a sequence of three shapes with a partner.

Rhif 2 / Number 2

Yr wythnos hon rydym wedi bod yn dysgu am rhif 2. Rydym wedi dysgu sut i ffurfio'r rhif yn gywir ac hefyd adnabod y rhif drwy amrywiaeth o gemau a gweithgareddau.

This week we've been learning about number 2. We have learnt how to correctly form the number and  recognise the number through games and activities.

                                                                                                                            

Post Office

This week we have enjoyed playing in the Post Office that we now have in Class 1.

Mark Griffiths

Heddiw ymwelodd Mark Grifiths y tafleisiwr a’r ysgol. Daeth a’i ffrind Kevin y pyped gydag ef. Bu’r ddau yn sgwrsio gyda ni am bwysigrwydd gwneud y dewisiadau cywir yn ein bywydau. Mwynhaodd y plant a’r oedolion y prynhawn yn fawr iawn!

Today we were visited by Mark Griffiths, the ventriloquist, and his friend Kevin the puppet. They talked to us about the importance of making good choices, as we’re all confronted by countless choices each day. The children and grown-ups thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

Techniquest

Today Hefina from Techniquest visited the school. Class 2 children were given the opportunity to investigate toys and learn about forces.
