Yr Heddlu Milwrol / The Millitary Police

Heddiw daeth dau aelod o’r Heddlu Milwrol atom i sôn ychydig am eu gwaith. Gwelodd y plant yr offer a ddefnyddir ganddynt yn ogystal a’u pwrpas. Yna cafodd pob dosbarth gyfle i weld y fan a’r golau glas a’r seiren!

Today two members of the Military Police visited the school to talk about their work.  The children were shown the special equipment the police carry and why they carry them. Every class also had the opportunity to see the police van. They saw the lights and heard the sirens! 

                                                                                 

Castell Penrhyn - Penrhyn Castle

Heddiw, ymwelodd  Dosbarth 4 a Chastell Penrhyn. Cawsom gyfle i ddysgu am draddodiadau Nadoligaidd yn ystod Oes Fictoria. Cawsom hefyd chwarae efo hen deganau, dawnsio, plygu napgyn, blasu 'Punch' cynnes a chreu llygod bach siwgr!

Today, Class 4 visited Penrhyn Castle. We learnt about Victorian Christmas traditions. We played with some toys, we danced, folded paper napkins, tasted warm 'Punch' and create little sugar mice!

Un bore rhewllyd / One frosty morning

Bu Sioni Rhew yn brysur iawn neithiwr a bore heddiw aeth plant y Feithrin allan i weld ol ei waith.

Jack Frost was very busy last night and this morning the Nursery children went out to see his wonderful work.

Tesco

Today Class 1 visited Tesco, Holyhead. The first activity was to play a fruit and vegetable game. We then tasted a variety of cheeses at the cheese counter (they were delicious). We also got to visit the fish counter and the bakery before going on a tour of the warehouse. To finish the afternoon we got to taste lots of different fruit.

Thank you Tesco for a lovely afternoon. We had a great time.


Heddiw aeth Dosbarth 1 ar drip i Tesco, Caergybi. I gychwyn chwaraeodd y plant gem ffrwythau a llysiau. Yna cawsom ymweld a'r becws a'r cownter pysgod. Hefyd cawsom flasu gwahanol fath o gaws. I orffen cawsom flasu ffrwythau gwahanol.

Bore Rhewllyd/ A Frosty Morning

It was a very cold morning at Ysgol y Tywyn this morning. Class 1 went on a Frosty Adventure around the school.

Roedd hi'n fore oer iawn yn Ysgol y Tywyn bore ma!

Yr wythnos hon mae plant y Feithrin wedi bod yn arbrofi gyda amrywiaeth o deganau. Dyma nhw yn darganfod sut mae’r teganau yn symud.

Children in Need.

Today the children came to school dressed in their own clothes to raise money for Children in Need. We painted pictures of Pudsey and Blush and made mini Pudsey's out of play doh. Lots of fun was had. Thank you for your donations.
