Penguins

At the beginning of the week Class 1 read the story 'Poles Apart', we have been copying some of the pictures from the book; everybody enjoyed doing this and the children drew some lovely pictures. Following on from the story we have been learning about penguins. We have been on a penguin hunt to find penguins, and on the back of the penguins were facts about the smallest and the tallest penguins.
We have also been learning about numbers 11-20, we have been making number lines in class ...with penguins of course.
It has been a very busy and fun week in Class 1.


Yr wythnos hon yn dosbarth 1 rydym wedi bod yn darllen stori 'Poles Apart'. Rydym wedi bod yn dysgu am bengwins ac wedi bod ar helfa bengwins.
Hefyd rydym wedi bod yn dysgu rhifau 11-20 gan wneud llinell rif...gyda pengwins wrth gwrs.
