Diwrnod Plant Mewn Angen/Children in Need Day

Heddiw, a hithau'n ddiwrnod Plant mewn Angen, daeth y plant i'r ysgol mewn amrywiaeth o wahanol wisgoedd. Yn ogystal a thalu am gael gwisgo eu dillad eu hunain roedd tocynnau raffl ar werth hefyd. Casglwyd y swm anrhydeddus o £305.70. Bydd y cyfan yn mynd i gronfa'r Plant Mewn Angen. Diolch yn fawr iawn i chi am eich cyfraniad.

With today being Children in Need Day, the children came to school in a variety of costumes!  As well as paying for the 'privilege' of wearing their own clothes, raffle tickets were also sold. At the end of the day the school managed to raise £305.70 and all money donated will go towards the Children in Need charity. Thank you all very much for your support.

Bws Coginio / Cooking Bus

Last week we were very fortunate to have the 'Cooking Bus' visit our school.  Children were given the opportunity to cook various dishes such as kebabs, Bara Brith, pizza and other lovely dishes, at the same time they were learning important cooking safety skills.

     








Yr wythnos ddiwethaf ymwelodd y Bws Coginio a'r ysgol.  Cafodd y plant gyfle i goginio amrywiaeth  o ddanteithion megis  kebabs, bara brith a phizzas. Yn ogystal a pharatoi prydau blasus, dysgodd y plant hefyd am arferion diogel  wrth goginio.

Noson Tan Gwyllt/Bonfire Night

                      Yr wythnos hon mwynhaodd pawb y stori am Charlie'r Ddraig a gysgodd am flwyddyn gyfan gan ddeffro mewn pryd i gynnau'r goelcerth ar Noson Tan Gwyllt. Bu'r plant yn lliwio lluniau o rocedi, adeiladu rocedi gyda blociau mawr a bach, gwneud setiau o rocedi a gludo siapiau i gyfleu Noson Tan Gwyllt.



This week we all enjoyed the story about Charlie the dragon who had been asleep for ages! He slept through Christmas. He slept through Easter. He even slept through his birthday! On Bonfire Night, his friends have to wake him up to light the bonfire! The children coloured pictures of rockets, built rockets, made sets of rockets and stuck different coloured shapes on black cards to create a fireworks scene.
