Diwrnod olaf o'r tymor - Last day of term

Cawsom ddiwrnod prysur iawn eto heddiw! Yn ogystal a 'diwrnod teganau', cawsom bicnic (dan do!). Roedd yn drist iawn gorfod ffarwelio a rhai o'r disgyblion a staff. Pob lwc iddynt i'r dyfodol.

We had another busy day today! As well as it being the much anticipated 'toy day', we had an indoor picnic (thanks to the heavy rain!). It was very sad having to say goodbye to some pupils and staff. All the best to you all for the future.

Gwasanaeth diwedd Blwyddyn / End of Year Service

Brynhawn heddiw daeth plant yr ysgol at ei gilydd i ffarwelio a disgyblion Blwyddyn 6. Rhannodd y plant eu hatgofion â ni ac yna cyflwynwyd llyfr o waith Mark Griffiths(y pypedwr) iddynt i gofio am eu hamser yn Ysgol y Tywyn. Roedd neges bersonol ym mhob llyfr wedi ei ysgrifennu gan yr awdur. Dymunwn y gorau iddynt yn eu hysgolion newydd.
Enillydd Tarian Gwyneth Owen am ymdrech cyson oedd Dylan Winter. Aeth Tarian Carys Davies am gyfraniad i gerdd i Sophie Kate McDowall  a Tharian Helen Owen am gyfraniad i gelf i Charlotte Morgan. Aeth tystysgrif am bresenoldeb 100% i Sophie Kate McDowall a Dysgwr y Flwyddyn oedd Brandon Edwards. Enillydd Cwpan John Moses oedd Mary Brooksbank.

This afternoon we all came together to say farewell to Year Six children. They all shared their memories with us and each one was presented with a book written by Mark Griffiths(the puppeteer)  as a memento of their time at Ysgol y Tywyn. In each book there was a personal message written by the author. We wish them all the very best in their new schools.

This year The Gwyneth Owen Shield for consistent effort was awarded to Dylan Winter. The Carys Davies Shield for Music to Sophie Kate McDowall and The Helen Owen Shield for Art to Charlotte Morgan. The certificates for 100% attendance throughout the year were awarded to Sophie Kate McDowall and the Welsh Learner of the Year was Brandon Edwards. The John Moses Foundation Phase Cup was awarded to Mary Brooksbank.

Beddgelert

Ddoe bu Dosbarth 1 2 a 3 ar drip i Beddgelert. Buom yn ymweld a bedd Gelert.


Yesterday Classes 1 2 and 3 visited Gelert's grave at Beddgelert.

Glan Llyn

Ddoe, cafodd yr Adran Iau ddiwrnod gwych yn Glan Llyn, Bala. Buom yn dringo, neidio, rhwyfo, adeiladu a gwlychu! 

Yesterday, the Juniors had a fantastic day in Glan Llyn, Bala. We got to climb, jump, row, build and get very wet!
