Parti Nadolig / Christmas Party
Brynhawn
Mercher cawsom ein parti Nadolig blynyddol. Yn dilyn llond bol o ginio Nadolig
bendigedig, cawsom ddawnsio a chwarae gemau. Yna cafodd y plant gyfle i ddangos
eu talentau wrth i ni fwynhau ‘Tywyn’s Got Talent’! Roedd amrywiaeth o eitemau yn
cynnwys dawnsio, canu, eitemau offerynnol, dweud jôcs a champau pel droed. Diolch blant am brynhawn difyr tros ben! Yn
sicr mae gan Tywyn dalent!
On
Wednesday afternoon we had our annual Christmas party. After enjoying an
excellent Christmas lunch we danced and played games. Then all the children had
the opportunity to take part in ‘Tywyn’s Got Talent’. We enjoyed a variety of items
including singing, dancing, instrumental items, impressions, joke telling as
well as a display of great football skills. Thank you children for a very
enjoyable afternoon. Tywyn has definitely got talent!

Tim Peake
This morning class 1 watched the rocket launch carrying Tim Peake on his landmark flight to the International Space Station.

Christmas Crafts
Class 1 have been busy baking Christmas biscuits and making Christmas Tree decorations, as well as painting Father Christmas and Rudolph to hang up in class.

Harry the Hedgehog
Some children in Class 1 have built a home for Harry the hedgehog to hibernate in over the Winter months.

Parti Nadolig y Feithrin / Nursery Christmas Party
Heddiw roedd hi'n ddiwrnod parti yn y Feithrin. Buom yn dawnsio, chwarae gemau ac yng nghanol ei brysurdeb daeth Sion Corn i edrych amdanom a'i sach yn llawn anrhegion. Diolch yn fawr Sion Corn.

STEM Family challenge
Class 5 were fortunate to take part in a STEM family challenge project called 'Build a Roller Coaster'
4 teams competed to build an exciting Roller Coaster using paper. Parents were invited to come to the class to help their children design and make a strong frame that would allow a marble to travel from the top of their design to the bottom without falling out of the structure.
The project was very successful with all pupils and parents enjoying themselves. They also learned more about the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) when working on various tasks.
Yr wythnos hon cafodd Dosbarth 5 gyfle i gymryd rhan ym mhrosiect her teuluol STEM. Enw'r prosiect oedd 'Build a Roller Coaster'. Bu pedwar tim yn cystadlu, a'r gamp oedd adeiladu 'roller coaster' cyffrous drwy ddefnyddio papur. Rhoddwyd gwahoddiad i'r rhieni hefyd a chawsant hwyl yn cynllunio gyda'u plant ffram gref a fyddai'n caniatau i farblen rolio o dop i waelod yr adeiladwaith.
Bu'n brosiect llwyddiannus a phawb wedi mwynhau. Yn ogystal a hyn dysgodd pob un am bwysigrwydd Gwyddoniaeth, Technoleg, Peirianneg a Mathemateg a hynny drwy weithio ar dasgau amrywiol.
