Bybls a Balwns / Bubbles and Balloons

Ein thema'r wythnos hon oedd 'Bybls a Balwns'. Fel y gwelwch cawsom lawer o hwyl yn ceisio dal swigod, yn golchi dillad doliau, yn gwneud setiau o falwns ac yn printio gyda 'bubble-wrap'.

Our theme this week was 'Bubbles and Balloons'. As you can see we had lots of fun catching bubbles, washing the dolls' clothes, making sets of balloons and printing with bubble-wrap'.

                                               

Thechniquest

Class 5 visited Techniquest in Wrexham to learn Lab skills in preparation for the big move to the secondary school next year.

Cafodd dosbarth 5 ymweld a Techniquest yn Wrecsam i gymryd rhan mewn sesiwn sgiliau yn y labordy.  Mae hyn yn brofiad da iddynt cyn y symudiad mawr i'r uwchradd y flwyddyn nesaf.

Mr Urdd

Daeth Mr Urdd i edrych amdanom heddiw. Mae Mr Urdd yn bersonoliad o logo trionglog coch, gwyn a gwyrdd Urdd Gobaith Cymru. Cawsom hwyl fawr yn ei gwmni ac rydym yn gobeithio y daw yn ôl i’n gweld yn fuan iawn. Dyma blant y Feithrin yn canu iddo.

Mr Urdd visited our school today. Mr Urdd is the personification of the triangular red, white and green logo of the Welsh youth movement, Urdd Gobaith Cymru (The Welsh League of Youth). We hope to see him again very soon. Here are the Nursery children singing to him.

Colours/Lliwiau

This week in the Reception Class we have been learning about colours. We have been painting our hands with red and yellow paint to see which colours they make when we rub our hands together. We have also been making rainbows and singing  'I Can Sing a Rainbow'.

Yr wythnos hon yn y Dosbarth Derbyn rydym wedi bod yn dysgu am liwiau. Cawsom lawer o hwyl yn gymysgu lliwiau i greu enfys.

Gwasanaeth Diolchgarwch y Feithrin / Nursery Thanksgiving Service

Heddiw yn neuadd yr ysgol cafwyd Gwasanaeth Diolchgarwch y Feithrin. Roedd y plant bach ar eu gorau yn diolch i Dduw ar gan am y pethau sy'n eu gwneud yn hapus!

Today in the school hall the Nursery children took part in their annual Thanksgiving Service. The children were in fine voice and thanked God for all the things which make them happy.

NSPCC

Heddiw daeth Rhian Jones a Buddy o'r NSPCC atom i sgwrsio am bwysigrwydd cadw'n ddiogel drwy ofalu dweud.

Rhian from the NSPCC came to see us today. With the help of Buddy, she told us about the importance of staying safe by speaking out.

Bore Coffi Macmillan Coffee Morning

Dyma ni yn mwynhau gwneud cyfraniad tuag at achos dda!

Dosbarth 4 - Aberlleiniog & Castell Biwmares/ Beaumaris Castle

Fel rhan o'n gwaith thema ar GESTYLL, buom yn ymweld a dau gastell heddiw. Yn gyntaf, aethom i Langoed i weld ol hen gastell mwnt a beili a adeiladwyd bron i fil o flynyddoedd yn ol - Aberlleiniog. Cawsom ginio ar lan y Fenai ac wrth rhyw lwc daeth yr haul allan! Wedyn, aethom i Gastell Biwmares. Cawsom lot o hwyl yn dysgu am ei hanes. Buom yn edrych ar wahanol arteffactau a dringo lot fawr o risiau!

As part of this term's theme on CASTLES, we visited two castles today. First, we went to Llangoed to see the remains of a thousand year old Motte and Bailey Castle - Aberlleiniog. We had our lunch looking out over the sunny Menai Straits. Then we went to Beaumaris Castle. We had a lot of fun exploring and learning about its history. We got to study some artefacts as well as climb a lot of stairs.
