Yr wythnos hon rydym wedi bod yn dysgu am batrymau. Dyma ni yn llunio patrymau ail-adroddus.

This week we have been learning about patterns. Here we are making repeating patterns.

Our trip to Tesco

This week the Reception Class have been on a class trip to Tesco, Holyhead. The first activity was to play a fruit and vegetable game. Then we had a tour of the bakery, where we made our own buns and doughnuts to take back to school. We also got to taste a variety cheeses from the cheese section, including a chocolate orange cheese, which the children loved! Everybody enjoyed the visit to the ice cave, it was very cold!! To finish the morning we got to taste different fruits, they were delicious.

Yr wythnos hon aeth y  Dosbarth Derbyn am drip i Tesco, Caergybi. I gychwyn y bore chwaraeodd y plant gêm ffrwythau a llysiau. Yna cawsom ymweld â'r becws, lle cafwyd y cyfle i wneud 'baps' a 'donuts' ein hunain i fynd yn ôl i'r ysgol gyda ni. Hefyd cawsom y cyfle i flasu gwahanol fath o gawsiau, gan gynnwys caws oren a siocled (roedd y plant wrth eu bodd). Yna aethom i'r ogof rhew. Roedd hi'n oer iawn yn y fan honno! I orffen y bore cawsom flasu ffrwythau gwahanol.

Bybls a Balwns / Bubbles and Balloons

Ein thema'r wythnos hon oedd 'Bybls a Balwns'. Fel y gwelwch cawsom lawer o hwyl! Fel rhan o'r thema cawsom gyfle i ddefnyddio hen fwrdd golchi i olchi dillad y doliau cyn eu rhoi allan ar y lein i sychu!

Our theme this week was 'Bubbles and Balloons'. As you can see we had lots of fun! We even used an old washboard to wash the dolls' clothes, before hanging them out to dry!

Our Senses (Touch)

This week in the reception class we've been learning about our senses. We've had fun fishing for letters in a tub of jelly, and writing numbers in foam. The children also put their hands into a feely bag and had to describe what was inside.

Yr wythnos hon yn y dosbarth derbyn rydym wedi cael hwyl yn dysgu am ein synhwyrau. Cafodd y plant y cyfle i bysgota am lythrennau mewn twb o jeli. Hefyd roedd gennym fag teimlo a chawsom hwyl yn dyfalu beth oedd tu fewn i’r bag.

Sian Ritchings

Heddiw daeth Sian Ritchings atom i ddarllen storiau ac i godi ymwybyddiaeth o stereoteipio ar sail rhyw o fewn yr ysgol. Mwynhaodd pawb y straeon am ‘Red Rocket and Rainbow Jelly’ a ‘Super Daisy’.

Today Sian Ritchings came to the Nursery to raise awareness of gender stereotyping in schools. She did this through stories. We all enjoyed ‘Red Rocket and Rainbow Jelly’ and ‘Super Daisy’.Thank you Sian!

Cylchoedd / Circles

Yr wythnos hon, rydym wedi bod yn dysgu am gylchoedd. Cawsom hwyl yn printio a thynnu lluniau o gylchoedd, matsio cylchoedd, gwneud cylchoedd gyda playdoh a mynd ar helfa gylch!

This week we have been learning about circles. We had lots of fun drawing and printing circles, making playdoh circles, matching circles and looking for hidden circles!

Ein gwers gerddoriaeth gyntaf/Our first music lesson.

Rydym wedi cael ein gwers gerddoriaeth gyntaf yr wythnos yma. Roedd y plant wrth eu bodd yn cael y cyfle i chwarae offerynnau gwahanol. Cawsom lawer o hwyl yn dysgu cân newydd.

This week we've had our first music lesson. The children enjoyed playing different instruments. We also learnt a new song that we could play along to.
